Superhero Baby Costumes

Part of the reason for the increase in popularity that superheros have been getting recently has to go to hit television shows such as The Big Bang Theory along with Hollywood movies about different superheros making the big screen.

Let's take a look at some of the Superhero baby bunting costumes that are on offer.   Personally I love the Superman costume, it's just so adorable.   My nearly ten year old thinks that the Batman costume is the best though - what do you think?

This baby Superman costume is a lovely and warm baby bunting costume that is sure to keep your baby warm during colder months.   It is also going to attract a lot of attention as it looks fantastic.

It you've got photoshop or similar at home you could probably doctor your photos and convince your baby when they're a little older that they used to fly!    Actually this is probably not a good idea or you could end up at the hospital explaining why your child is nursing broken bones and a delusion that they know how to fly!

On the practical side however the bunting costume has a fabric closure in the back for easy access to the diaper area.   It also comes with the Superman cape and a lot of great photo ops.

This absolutely adorable baby Spiderman costume is an officially licensed product and includes the baby bunting as well as the soft cap (both pictured).

The costume's details just add to how adorable this costume is - the red and black webbed soft cap with the Spiderman 'eyes' is gorgeous and the baby bunting is undeniably Spiderman.   Not only does this costume mean that your baby will need to have a photo session, it could also mean that you'll literally need eyes in the back of your head to make sure s/he isn't climbing up the walls!

With a Captain America movie due to hit the big screens in 2011 this baby Captain America costume is bound to be a big hit.   Captain America has undergone a few costume changes since he made his debut in 1940, but they have always incorporated parts of the US flag like this baby Captain America costume has.

This baby bunting costume opens at the back with fabric fastners which is great for when Captain America turns into Captain Stinky and needs the adult in charge to give him a hand!

I think this costume looks like a lot of fun, but I have to be honest and say that I had never heard of the Green Lantern until I started watching the Big Bang Theory and noticed all of Sheldon's Green Lantern shirts!

The Green Lantern was brought to audiences by DC Comics and has been released as a movie in 2011 as well which means that this costume is bound to be a very popular superhero one to be wearing.

Knowing nothing about this particular superhero I will just say I love the color green, my own daughter left the hospital in a onsie in that exact shade of green so I'm slightly biased about this baby costume!
