Brenda, Good story, it is true music can keep you sad. So many people listen to broken heart songs when they go through a break up and wonder when the sadness will end.... when they start listening to uplifting music! :)K

Wow. I can relate to feeling hopeless and insufficient and even at some point couldn't find the will to even lift my head up. I can only sympathize with your pain and for all the others with this disease. To feel pain 24/7 must be tough and I'm rooting for you. Your post is informative and enlightening and I love how you also put down some possible ways to cope as well. Wonderful work :)

Brenda, My kids love the stockings too, it's so fun stuffing them with fun treats, toys and small gifts. Plus I always add coal :)

Brenda, Yes there are a great variety of glues, epoxy and adhesives for any job. You just need to use the right adhesive or glue for the right job.

Very informative and well set out page about a very interesting historical event. Great job!

Hearing about breakfast around the world is just so cool! I didn't really think about what I ate for breakfast before so now it's actually something I look forward to :)

That year was horrendous. There were several personal ones, as well as all of the celebrity ones. These things do seem to come in clusters, you're right.

Thank you very much. AND OH WOW! I JUST GOT MY TENTH EDITOR'S CHOICE! OH WOW! Danke!

Deaths seem to come in threes. Diana, Sonny Bono and one more Kennedy left us within weeks apart. A sad time.

I like to think that I'd have stayed. I really do. But it's mind-blowing to imagine even being in that situation.

All I can say is WOW. How sad, yet how brave they were. I don't know whether I could have done it or not. Sometimes you just don't know until something happens.

I didn't know it was so big in the US too. Mind you, that goes both ways. My mother and her sisters still talk about their shock over the assassination of JFK.

Ha Yes, it's really easy to do if you're prepared. I've done many in my day.

Great article, Lil. It's at times like this that I think it would be nice to have a man around. But then I stop and think, it wouldn't be worth it. I'll fix it myself.

Hi Jessica, apparently the majors that pay off the best are hard science majors. It saddens me to see nothing about the humanities and the social sciences, without which I simply cannot envision the world :). Thanks for a great post, though. I think it will give some directions to young teens who are already interested in science -- and turn to science some who aren't!
