cmoneyspinner, People come into our lives to help us see the joy in so many things we might otherwise never come to know.
I've always enjoyed music. But it was my husband who taught me how to really appreciate it.
Brenda, Good story, it is true music can keep you sad. So many people listen to broken heart songs when they go through a break up and wonder when the sadness will end.... when they start listening to uplifting music! :)K
I once bought some Native American flute music at a New Age fair. It was beautiful music. I happened to be going through a severe period of depression. My brother came over one day and asked me why I was playing that depressing music. It suddenly dawned on me that the music was depressing. No wonder I couldn't shake the depression! You have some nice selections here, Katie.
Tolovaj, Good point, I'm sure driving is affected by music.
I believe right kind of music can play important part in traffic safety. It should be energetic, but of course without headbanging effect;)
Tolovaj, I have an entire series on music for different things; learning, concentration, creativity, productivity and on and on. I should add that to this page, in fact I will. Thanks for the reminder.
Music is the most amazing and inspiring thing in the world. It does change a mood instantly.
I remember how I used music in my studies as a stimulant. I was working at nights or afternoons and weekends, and listening lectures by day. Other students were 'on' coffee, but my greatest helpers were D.O.A., hardcore band from Canada!
I was a slow student, but at the end I passed all the exams and had a lot of fun too:)
Mood music is the best way to beat the blues period and to feel good anytime.
