Lego Figures
Batman Lego is the best selling toy from the building brick manufacturer. Hardly surprising really that DC comics and Lego have combined to promote the Caped Crusader (I prefer CC to the Dark Knight). Thanks again, Katie, for visiting my ...

Avoid Co-Dependency The War on Addiction
A very helpful resource for anyone in a difficult relationship. Sometimes you do not realise that you are codependent. Excellent work, as always.

Pardon My Grammar
Funny. I wish I had been writing down all that my friend said. She was a hoot. I don't see her now that I've moved.

Pardon My Grammar
I love your article, Ragtimelil! If people really thought through what they were saying/writing, we'd all be having a belly laugh or two or three a day at our own expense. I find as the years go on the malapropism can increase in frequency as we ...

Pardon My Grammar
The misuse of "to" and "too" is one of my pet peeves too... ;) I have a good friend who exchanges similar words and it's so funny. She doesn't realize it either. Sometimes I point it out to her and then we both laugh. (ex. "I got my magazine ...

I definitely recall learning about sibilance from you...it got a book thrown at me! :D But your example with the baby was really cool! Of course you could pull off making a baby sound entirely ...

Movie Review of Inception (2010)

Pardon My Grammar
These examples come from all over. My boss was one who used "peek" and "peak". Made me laugh. And I thought I misheard my friend when she said she was a ferocious reader until she said it again. I'm not immune to mistakes either.

Black Snakes in Virginia
When I was a kid, I kept snakes I caught as pets. It was tricky though because my mom was terrified of them. I worked on a goat ranch in Texas that had a rattlesnake problem. The owner bought and released some king snakes to get it under ...

I appreciate your policing the area. I admit I'm the first to go off half cocked with some creative writings that pump through the veins of my brain often leaving out the basic structure which is good grammar. Thanks for the reminders and ...

Clever Tricks of Creative Writing: Word Crafting
Very interesting. One of these days I'll try some more creative writing. I'm stuck on how-to's right now but I love reading a good turn of phrase.

Me too. I'm always humbled by how many mistakes I make. Usually I leave out words that makes the sentence a little odd. I proofed this article about 4 times and still found mistakes this morning.
