I avoid Facebook for the most part and I have never become interested in their "games" that everyone seems to be playing. The one thing I do like about it is the ability to find long lost friends who I may have never seen again otherwise.

Have you talked to the owners? Sometimes the owners don't even realize their dogs are barking when they're not home. That happened to me more than once. Some of the ultra sonic devices are advertised to work on your neighbor's dogs. If all else fails.

Right across the street I have 2 dogs that sometimes bark for hours non-stop while their owners are away at work. It can get very annoying in summer when windows are open. I'm glad you were able to find something that worked for your dogs, and that you cared enough to do so.

What a great way to use zucchini! Looks delicious, and your photos are gorgeous!

I would also like to add that with the change to the game cards that just happened I think they will keep SOF as hated as it is & keep membership so no transition to full F2P either even with the cash shop now inplace.

It's full greed mode now I heard there even showing video adds again on F2P.

It's a shame they don't just forces more on improving the gameplay rather then spending extra time on making all these cosmetic items that are just for show. A better game experience would lead to more members that are willing to pay. I fell like the updates apart from SOF and Solomon this year have really slipped. They must have spent alot of time on this stuff rather then the usual updates that we would expect to have.

Sam, I don't like the direction human interaction is going either. I find the fastest way to get in contact with my friends is on FB, because they're always checking on there.

I dipped my niece's hair into white vinegar and I was then able to comb it out - it was absolutely amazing - never thought of trying butter.

Solomon's Shop is now plastered across the front page, as well as the fact that you can now buy spins and J-Coins for cash in Walmart ("other territories coming soon")

Seems they did have a launch planned, but couldn't get it running in time.....

Well, as far as I know (in the 2/3 years I was an addicted player), Runescape used to actually churn out updates every week, with a no update week every month.. Those updates brought new contents, and fixed bugs.. Post-SOF? I don't recall much new things in the game beyond graphical updates and lots of SOF...

Thanks for the comment and the tweet Winterfate! Yes, I prefer my desktop computer for everyday work and my laptop for working when traveling also, but when really 'on the move' like walking through an unknown town or being bored when somebody else drives the car a tablet can come in handy ;-) Yes, you certainly pay for the brand also, but that means often also superior craftsmanship and longer life of the device in question. In the end it all depends on your budget and your real, not your perceived, needs. SY

This sounds absolutely delicious! I must give it a try.

Great article Sam! :)

While I wouldn't trade my desktop computers for anything except a laptop, it's nice to see that there are cheaper alternatives out there.

Sometimes, things are so pricey because you're buying the brand, so to speak.

Tweeted this out. :)

Thanks for the share Sam! Glad you liked it! :)

Tip, hot off the press - install a treadmill all around your house. Zombies haven't the wit to step off it, so they will never be able to get to your front door.

i can't take the credit for that one. My friend Jackie told me she'd read about it in her research.
