Great article! I remember buying a book at a library book sale once called "How To Live Well On 4.25 An Hour" and it had some cleaver concepts in it. Money doesn't have to be plentiful to be resourceful, it's all in how you use your resources and the barter system is still very much alive- even on eBay if you know how to get around eBay's system trying to block you and a seller from forming a relationship outside of the site....

I once ate for a full 5 days on 5.00, I bought a pack of hotdogs for .79, loaf of bread for 1.00, I even got some mustard and ketchup (travel size) in there and had a hot dog or two a day... the bread filled in the between hours :) It was my first apartment and I made chump change as a carpet cleaner assistant :)

You can also barter your skills or products you invent/create...

I remember our cats eating better than us one month recently, after the HP ban (and all that income we'd become used to), Michelle being laid off, and my income covering everything (mine and her car payments etc...) we had very little left over, it was 2 weeks before paydays and we were eyeballing the wet cat food, (what? it smells kinda good when your starving!)... we made it through though... we realized if we visited our parents and friends they'd feed us haha

Why do you need to change it? It is great as it is imho ;-) SY

Tolovaj, Very nice comment, thanks so much for the helpful feed back :)K

ohhhh creepy. I got goosebumps.

Glad to help Sheilamarie :) @Dustytoes, you uploaded that picture? Awesome! I liked it the best out of about 20 others, it spoke to me hehe... Thanks for the likes!

I'm amazed at how well the plunger works and doesn't leave your hands like prunes!

Great! I'm intending these to be read as a series. It saves me having to keep repeating myself, the further than I go.

Thank you for reading them.

Another good article. I read this article after 'Tips and Tricks After 50 Pages on Wizzley. "

There's something appealing about low tech. Hard work if you've got kids or a lot of dirty work clothes, though. I can remember my Mom trying to wash clothes, including diapers, without a washing machine. At least we could use the solar dryer you mentioned above.

Great advice, especially about changing the article title. I joined Wizzley on 06/03/2011, but have only published 6 pages. I'm ready to get serious now and start writing.

Thanks for writing this wizzle, Jerrico! I'll let you know whether these tips work for me.

nice post. thanks for sharing...

Interesting read....thanks for sharing!

I just realized why Zebu cattle looked so familiar. Brahman cattle are a breed of Zebu! No wonder!
