Er... katiem2 ... you do realise this is Fiction? I have been hammered by other people elsewhere about my fantasizing about my life. It ism of course, what I do as a novelist ~ fantasize and tell a story.

It seems that people don't believe me ~ so I have been criticized for giving up Judaism, Christianity, Buddhis etc. For being a Drug Addict a Thef a Murderer, A philanderer - you name it.

I just love sandals and flip flops. I can't wear them too long because my feet don't do well sitting so flat. I like the ones that have a little arch support in them. Great time of year to show off the cute toe nail polish and pedicure!

Writeronline- Hi! Yes, that is quit true. Here in Canada, we are taught English English spelling. American English is spelled differently. Canadians are allowed to spell either way (English or American) on essays etc. as long as we are consistent and use only one or the other in the same document. But on a computer, all devices and programs (programmes) recognize American spelling only-even those sold in England so I understand from Ryank. I imagine Hooked on Phonics has something to do with that as well. Good point about the red underlining and ESL speakers and writers. It is all to do with where you are and where things are made.

It's very different, and it makes you see what the Depression was like in little ways. But the story isn't depressing, it has a lot of high points and fun in it. Happy you enjoyed it!

Yet another example of the media practicing on the naiveté of average people. Whether it truly is ignorance, or just blatant hypocrisy I'll leave for others to decide, but either way it's more than a little disheartening.

While I think Gov. Branstad was wrong to go so far as assigning motive to the media's report, I will agree that it was, at best, irresponsible and at worst, over-sensationalized "tabloid journalism" on the part of the media.

Is the Ljubljana dragon because of St George too? The one on the Welsh flag isn't; but the fact that George is chosen for the English is because of that dragon. :)

See, I wouldn't mind queuing if all of that was going on. That's the theme park acknowledging that queues will happen and that they'll be long, then taking steps to ensure that a great day out will still be had.

Alton Towers doesn't care about any of that. They already have your money and the longer you wait, the more thirsty and hungry you'll get, so you'll go and buy more stuff.
