How to Dust a Computer

I can empathize with that one. I ended up filthy and just had a shower afterwards!

How to Dust a Computer

Oh, yes dust and grime get everywhere, even places you don't expect. I hate cleaning machines with grime and dust because it is disgusting , but they tend to stop working if I don't. Must put on old clothes, put up my hair and have plenty of rags!

Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee

This kind of Jubilee definitely deserves many celebrations! I believe that there will be even more tourists visiting England because of the events. I visited London last year, fortunately one week before 'The Wedding', but crowds were already enormous. I can imagine why you 'will be trying to avoid' the pomp...

Why I Won't Recommend Alton Towers Theme Park

I went there in the 80s and it was amazing. In fact, I know precisely when I was there because I missed the day-time of Live Aid in 1985 through being at Alton Towers. I didn't mind. I've also been since, when my boys were younger and that was fine.

It's gone soooo downhill since we were young. Now it really is all about herding people like cattle and leaving them to wait for hours.

We were there from 11.40 until 5 (we started walking back to the entrance at half 4 though). In that time we managed one big ride (Nemesis), then the smaller rides of Blade, Submission and Enterprise. The boys went on Oblivion. That was it. We queued for about 45 mins for Th13rteen before being evacuated, without being told that we were being evacuated. That was it.

Why I Won't Recommend Alton Towers Theme Park

Oh that's a shame. Sorry you had a rubbish day out. I was looking forward to taking my boys to Alton Towers when they're bigger - I love rides. I had a brilliant day out at Alton Towers as a teenager, but that was a very long time ago! I only enjoy theme parks if I can get off a ride and walk round and go on it again immediately. Just going on a handful of rides during the day doesn't appeal at all.

Best Slovene tourist attractions

I agree, Tolovaj, there are so many attractions that even I haven't discovered them all. I believe it is the same with you, neighbor... Right? :-)

Karpathos - Greek island in Aegean sea - where the tradition is still alive

I believe the continental Greece is also beautiful and worth to see, but we have just visited once Olympia (the place of ancient Olympic games), otherwise we like to discover Greek islands (so far we have visited Zakynthos (3 times), Corfu, Thasos, Karpathos and Lefkas)

How to Take Notes in the Shower

Good ideas are always coming when we are not distracted with outside noise and showering time is one of rarest opportunities where we can actually listen to our own thoughts. I didn't know there are waterproof notebooks on the market...
Thanks!

Reach For The Golden Ring

Thinking about future, who we are, why we are here and where are we going... is not very popular in these days. This article is bright exception and the poem adds a special beauty to it. Thanks for sharing your experience.

How to Skip Buying Groceries for a Week

We like to get a whole month's foods (non perishables) all at once- meats from wholesale stores like cosco, buy in bulk everything else (we also do this with the other family members and friends and all pitch in- divvy it up into the same retail containers but at a lower price. Our weekly shopping involves just replacing fruits vegetables and other perishables you can't freeze (well you could but we like fresh)... Great article!

Free Weight Watchers Alternative

I have been following the recommendations of Dr. Oz since the month of February, 2012. I haven't taken a supplement suggested by him - I blog about them. The kind of response his show and recommendations generate is really amazing.

From my personal experience, I must admit that losing weight is simply about eating right and moving the body. I took up gardening a few months back and it's a great way to exercise. Cut down on sugar and soft foods. Eat raw vegetables and fruits and you won't need fancy apps and diets to melt fat. Try and be close to nature, that is the key.

Cooking Affordably: Lentils and Rice

I love lentils! And since my doctor recommended a severe change to my diet (my cholesterol is through the roof!), I' gonna cook a big pot of lentil stew tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
