Creating a Character in Fan Fiction

Some very good ideas here. I come from environment where a lot of people still believe writing is matter of talent, inspiration, act of muses etc., but younger generation already showed most of tricks of the trade can be reproduced and difference between great writing and good enough writing is only in details.

Most of the details can be learned with practice. I see fan fiction as very very good sort of exercise. For writing fan fiction you need understanding of characters, logic, settings and a pinch of imagination.

Just like for every other sort of writing.

Keeping Goats

thanks frugalrvers. I do miss my goats. But it'll have to wait until I can get a patch of land.

Funny Idioms And Hilarious Sayings - All New

The term "cat" refers to the performer. The neighbor's kitty is familiar with my porch antics. He was yawning several times.

Keeping Goats

If I were a goat, I'd like to be the "mellow" angora :)
Goats are something I know nothing about, and it was so nice to get an immediate education on them in such an easy-to-read way...great first Wizzley!

Funny Idioms And Hilarious Sayings - All New

Aside from your talent mesmerizing us all (wow.), it appears you managed to terrorize the neighborhood cat in your video (or is that why it was titled not the coolest cat in the litterbox and now I feel really dumb)? Did you notice the white cat in the left hand corner of the screen appear later in the video? Or maybe he/she was just waiting patiently to sign up for classes? Needed the laugh...thanks for delivering!

Green Offices and Green Homes: Three Plants that will Purify and Improve Your Indoor Air Quality

Your absolutely right Dusty! Your comment reminded me to add a note about encouraging people influence their workplace policies, to ensure that more vegetation is present in shut up office space. As for the "Money Plant" name, it is most frequently called that in the Eastern world (particularly India), but it most people in North America tend to call it Pothos :-)

How To Draw Vampire Skulls

this is AWESOME thanks for the the "pictures" . I have a silly question..do you have a hard time drawing your skulls facing left or right? I find it's easier when they face to the left. I do however practice drawing them facing to the right....i'm right handed and i WAS lefty when i was younger but .......anyway i was just curious.

Green Offices and Green Homes: Three Plants that will Purify and Improve Your Indoor Air Quality

I imagine this info would be very useful for office spaces in cities, especially for buildings without opening windows. These are very easy plants to grow too. Also, I didn't know that the pothos was known as a money plant.

Funny Idioms And Hilarious Sayings - All New

Very funny stuff! Thanks for the giggles, Chef. I remember comedian Rich Hall saying that his grandfather used to use the idiom, "dumber than a bag of white mice". Love it.

Insanity Workout Warning

I just saw this on TV last night and thought about getting it. I still have to determine if I think I can do this. It looks really intense.

Growing fruit indoors

I bought a meyer meyer lemon tree about a month ago. It came with nearly a dozen little lemons on it and had bloomed profusely, creating some of the most pleasing and aromatic flowers I have come across in my nordic area. It is truly a fascinating tree as it is no more than a foot and a half tall. Most of the originals lemons have fallen off, to be replaced by the new lemons (whose flowers i cross-pollinated manually). While the lemons have grown fat, they have yet to turn yellow, and in the weeks that i have placed in outdoors to soak up the sun, it has also stopped growing. Still, I'm really happy with my Meyer lemon. Also, alpine strawberries sounds like an amazing idea! I'm tickled at the thought of having perennial, 6 year-old strawberry plants!

Drama and Tension at the London Olympics 1908

I've just come back from Dorset. Some of the boating events are happening down Weymouth. There are so many new roads built or being built down there!

Should be exciting. :)

Movie Review of Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman (2007)

His job was macabre, but the movie is more about Pierrepoint himself. It's about his life as a hangman, so there's obviously some hanging scenes there. I found it an interesting film.

You're welcome!
