For those asking about the place-name Laikipia in the second paragraph of the first, introductory subsection, the afore-appreciated noun arrives from the Maa language of the Maasai people.

The place-noun Laikipia configures in English as "treeless plain."

It derives from the traditional-Maa designation laikop for the high-altitude, open, savanna ambiance.

For those asking about the song Con Checca, Betta e Catte, that title Anglicizes as "With Betty, Frankie and Cathy."

For those asking about the species-name tangalunga, the animal name arises from the Malay language.

The species-name comes from the Malay word tenggalong. It designates the Malay descriptor for Malay civet even as it does not defer to that description literally.

The complete name occurs as musang tenggalong, with musang Anglicizing as "civet."

The vegetation known to the displayed wildlife -- in this case, Herbert River ringtails -- causes the wildlife-committed viewers to comprehend what the wildlife species considers for comfortable habitats and health-correlated food.

Herbert River ringtails look for:

Fruits: Silver quandong (Elaeocarpus kirtonii);
Leaves: Brown quandong (Elaeocarpus ruminatus), cadaghi gum (Eucalyptus torelliana), murpe vine (Melodinus bacellianus), paper-barked (Syzygium ligneum) and red eungella (Acmena resa) satinash, pink ash (Alphitonia petriei), pink bloodroot (Eucalyptus acmenoides), white basswood (Polyscias murrayi).

Some mammalogists delegate to Hose's palm civets more than a diet developed around crabs, frogs, shrimp and small fish.

They expect Hose's palm civets to eat some "mossy boulder- and stream-dwelling small mammals."

Where were your English ancestors from ?

Americans are generally very well received as visitors over here. It is some of your politicians whom we dislike.!

It is a myth but I think no man was safe . :)

For something special like that, I would always do an English roast dinner with what we call all the trimmings:;- sausages wrapped in ham-bacon, roast potatoes in duck fat , proper gravy made with the meat juices, Yorkshire puddings and 2 or 3 veg .

I have personallly met one or two female head gardeners, who seemed to be very competent,

Gardening, like all British jobs, is free from. Women make good gardeners.

Thank you for your comment below in answer to my previous observation and question.

Do large estates in the 21st century still decide toward male gardeners or do they sometimes determine that a woman does decent gardening too?
