You are doing that one exactly right! Claddagh cufflinks are a completely different keyword than Claddagh rings. And also well done for not trying to compete with the rings article! If we are thinking of the same one, it is one that really deserves undivided attention from the search engines. When you have finished / published your cufflinks article why don't you link to the rings article in it? This way you could help establish Wizzley as a Claddagh authority and, more seriously, linking out to other articles / interlinking articles really does help your own content. Just don't link to bad neighborhoods ;-)

Thanks for your comment, Humagaia. I agree that it's a good starting point. I've spent many, many hours in first the microfiches, then the on-line database. For years, it was the main source of information for anything in genealogy outside your own area.

As a Wiccan, I'm also quite apathetic about the afterlife issues, though I do understand why other Abrahamic religions might have objections.

I've spent a long time working in the IT industry and have had several colleagues with Aspergers and probably more who are undiagnosed. As long as they have been in roles that played to their strengths they have done well.

The IGI is a good starting point for your family history search - especially if someone else has done much of the donkey work. However, as you say, all data should be scrutinised and cross-referenced with other sources before it is taken as Gospel. As for it being used by Mormons to retrospectively baptise those on the list - since I have no religious belief, what harm can come of it? It is just another method of control perpetrated by a church - what's new, get over it, it has no effect on your life - or death.

This was so very interesting. I think I may try this for chocolate milk for my children. I hate using the other stuff that is so full of sugar. With four kids that scream for chocolate milk every day I need a good option for them.

Bullying is the scourge of those that are 'different'. My daughter was bullied at school, until her brother stepped up and let the bullies know in no uncertain terms that it would not be tolerated (a quick thump to the nose did it). She was statemented as being dyslexic at 7, after much harassing of teachers who thought there was nothing abnormal. That was nearly 25 years ago when dyslexia for most people was an unknown condition.
Now with a 7 year old of her own, she is concerned that he may also be dyslexic. And she does not want him to go through what she went through. But, guess what, the teachers do not think there is anything to be concerned about. Deja vu?
I do hope you find ways for your child to adapt and function in this unforgiving world. I often think my daughter was born out of time - she is very intelligent and can memorize song lyrics and the tune after a single hearing - had she been born in the 15th century she would have been hailed as a great troubadour (if a woman could have been one).

You make some very good points, Sam. Before I write articles on Wizzley I now always check that no-one else has covered that exact topic. If they have already then I try to find some keywords or an article on a slightly different angle. Take today, I wanted to write about Claddagh rings but this had already been done so I picked Claddagh cufflinks instead seeing as I had already done some research on the Claddagh symbol and didn't want to waste it! There are endless topics to write about, so why write on exactly the same thing.

I adore my squirrels in the backyard! The Blue Jays kept taking ALL the food i was throwing out for the squirrels, so i had to buy a squirrel feeder to keep the birds out. I still throw seeds out for them too. I have a little red squirrel, a HUGE red squirrel (i swear he is the size of a beaver) and many grey squirrels. They are my entertainment while i drink coffee and watch them from my window. Love them!

@graceonline The company is not purely US-focused and has an Asian subsidiary so I doubt your goals are aligned with theirs (or mine since I'm in the UK) - they are clearly looking to a global market.
The green question is one that interests me a lot though. It has occurred to me that projection technology should consume less resources (no large screen or keyboard to build) and have lower shipping costs. A projector should use less power than an equivalent sized monitor too. Technology like this could be important for reducing environmental impact. It's something I've been wondering about.
