Calendula Cream: A Review
I recently bought some Calendula Cream to see if it would help with my eczema. Following is information about the cream and what I have to say about it.
I bought this product a while ago on the recommendation of a friend when we got talking about Eczema. When her kids were babies, she was introduced to this product and loved it. I decided to give it a try as I am always looking for products that will work for me. I purchased the California Baby cream through Amazon.
My biggest issue is my ankles as they are very dry. I have bad eczema on my legs and it seems that during the night I tend to scratch at them. I have started to wear socks at night to help with this but I still catch myself scratching during the day. I can use this cream whenever I want as per the directions,
Benefits to Calendula Cream:
This product is a natural product, unlike the cortisone cream that I was using previously. My previous cream is actually a steroid so you use it for a few days to clear up any issues but then the problem comes back, and worse. It becomes a vicious cycle as you use the product to clear up your skin, it is clear for a few days, but then you need to use it again – rinse and repeat continually.
No allergens are included in the product so if you have issues with gluten, soy, dairy or nuts, this product should not cause you to have any issues. I will admit that I cannot pronounce most of the ingredients but they actually have English words in brackets after each and I do know those words.
The cream spells nice unlike many other creams that you can purchase. It actually says that it aromatherapy. It has a slightly minty type smell to it so I can see this being relaxing to a person.
Another thing that I like about this cream is that it is not greasy. I can put it on my legs and then go to bed and not feel that I am getting my sheets all messed up.

Downsides to Calendula Cream:
I thought the price seemed a little bit high but considering that I can get this without having to see my doctor, it makes this cream more convenient and makes the price easier to handle. As well, in comparison to the cortisone cream that I have been using, it actually works out cheaper. Amazon does not ship this to Canada unfortunately so I had to send it through a third party.
