Rusty Blackbird - How to Save This Vulnerable Species - Do you feel empowered?

Here is a recent lens that I've put a lot of passion into:

Rusty Blackbird - How to Save This Vulnerable Species

It's about a once-abundant species of bird that has been listed as vulnerable and may soon become endangered.  I read a lot of alarmist writing about environmental issues that strikes me as having a negative tone, and I wanted to use this article as an opportunity to tackle an environmental and conservation issue while retaining a positive mood.

So please tell me...does it work?  I want to leave readers feeling empowered and optimistic, raising awareness of a problem but helping people to realize the ways in which they can have a positive impact on a situation like this.  Do you feel empowered after reading this?

Wonderful page!  I can tell you have put a lot of work into it.  Love the picture of the rusty blackbird too.

Thank you!  They aren't my own photos...all public domain or copyleft images from Wikimedia Commons; I haven't been lucky enough to get to photograph this bird yet, although I have seen them in several different places!
