I recently published a Hello Kitty page and put it in the Entertainment catergory because that was the best I could find. Based on the related pages showing up on the page, it just does not seem to be a great category fit. Any ideas of a better place I could put it?

Your article goes across the board from Christmas to party to beauty supplies to electronics. I'd probably categorize it under gifts and then see what happens. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

oops...you're right - al our gift cats are with certain main cats. How would YOU categorize your article, Janet? Perhaps we can set up a new subcat for your purpose. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Maybe, Entertainment and Media > Cartoons & Animation? By the way, does the related pages pull from category or keywords? |

We have Entertainment & Media --> TV --> Cartoons -or- Arts --> Graphic Design --> Animation. Will that work for you? I think our related pages use categories and maybe a special sauce ingredient. We need to wait until Simon wakes up for more info. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

I put it under Entertainment & Media --> TV --> Cartoons. I never really think of Hello Kitty as a tv show, but it did have a tv show in Japan at some point I believe. So, I will leave it there. From what I can tell, the related pages is pulling more from category than keywords. Don't you think it would entice more clicks if it were by keyword, though? I mean if other Hello Kitty pages displayed rather than random pages from the Entertainment cateogory? Just some thoughts. :) |

We, too, put a lot of thought and testing in our features, Janet. Once we have more articles on our site, the keyword search may become a better option. Unfortunately, we can have only one option, not both. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.
