I got one click and 4 sales, a 45.00 book, a 30.00 book, and two toothpastes equaling almost 20.0 (roughly 95.00)... not a fortune but exciting to get multiple sales from one visitor :) hadn't had a sale in a while :)

That's the great thing about Amazon, that people click on one thing and then buy several products :-) And sometimes all their products are different from the one you advertised! :)) |

You need to look in your Amazon account, Arlene. There you can see what people ordered and bought. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

You can also see what they clicked on and didn't buy. Paula Atwell (aka lakeerieartists) is the owner of an online art gallery, Lake Erie Artists Gallery and a freelance writer

Where is the they clicked on and didn't buy link report? I don't think much of what people click through to buy is what they end up buying, I love that any sale pays you on amazon, even if they change to another page- until they log off, all they buy there is your sale. This person spent some time on the site and bought in two categories :) I need to make more of these... I don't expect to earn anything decent till next year when my pages have seasoned but you often will get sales around Christmas because the traffic surge is so high, I think our pages being more informative will bring more traffic... someone will buy widget A and will tell a friend who won't "get it" so they send them to your page to read up on it and they end up clicking through too to buy it (that's the theory anyway). To see your stats, log into the amazon associate site and at the top there is a drop box, click through the different types of reports to see them. They have an order report that shows you what products sold, they won't tell you the commission until it's shipped but you can click through to the product and estimate 4% of the retail price (or whatever your percentage is on)... Thanks everyone, I've been getting massive clicks but no actual sales so this is a nice cloud in the drought :) adsense is at a standstill it seems lately *last 3 months* Jerrico

thanks Arlene, on Wizzley I've not yet received a payout either :) but definitely should see a small one next month... in a way we're getting to experience "earning" like a child does :) 5.00 is a gold mine at first... |
