I was surprised to see my Wizzley comments, submitted on the Forum, could be seen with a Google search of my name. I'd prefer they be private and shown only with a Wizzley log-in. Is a public view normal? I think private is better.

Judith, a public forum offers better exposure for our articles, because people may decide to read them. I assume that nothing on the Internet is private anyway. |

Thanks for the reply. I just sent a private message to Anne re my AdSense and Amazon Associates accounts, somewhat similar to your post. I preferred that message not be read publicly. Judith |

Oh, I understand. I was just looking for feedback, and didn't mind sharing this. |

Some of our forum threads are visible to members only (Wizzley Tips, Contests, etc.). Others, such as our Chatter Box and Official Wizzley News, are public. Many people find our authors and their articles via forum posts. This is absolutely normal and part of our (and many other platforms') SEO strategy. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

I actually decided to start writing here after reading the public forum because it seemed like it was a nice place and there was good interaction among the authors. I also read many of their articles before joining. |
