Just want to share here because you guys understand. I don't have anyone IRL to tell this to (who will get it).
Today the 19th of Dec. my monthly google adsense $$ surpassed what I made last month (which at that time was a record month for me). And there are twelve more days for earnings!
Today alone I've had over $4! I know, $4 isn't much, but it's the growth that I'm excited about. To go from 3¢ a day a few months ago to $1-4 a day is a huge upward swing!
I've got 80 wizzes. 20 more to my goal of 100. I'm coming to get that extra 5%, Chef Keem!

Congrats, Jimmie! $4 is a very nice number.
I think you should keep on doing what you're doing with regard to making more sales pages. Perhaps in a year, or so, you'll have a decent part-time passive income from Wizzley alone.
Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

4 is my favorite number, too!
Your year long projection sounds very nice indeed. But I admit I don't really enjoy making sales pages. I'm a teacher at heart, and the informational pages motivate me greatly. The other is very ho-hum. But I will try to do a combination of both -- eat my peas alongside my potatoes.

$4 is huge! Wow, well done. Adsense has only ever started making any money for me since joining Wizzley. I've never really used it before. Sounds like it could be another useful income stream in time.
8 months ago, I hated product pages. Tried them on blogs and Squidoo with no joy at all. Didn't like making them and they didn't work well for me. On Wizzley, product pages have just clicked for me. As I have a young daughter, I stick to subjects like toys and items we've used at home. Different writing platform equals different writing style.

Meant to add that I love selecting and curating items as in gift or decor pages because it indulges my real-life love of picking out gifts for other people - a bit like being a personal shopper. I'm awful at choosing items for myself but do love to hunt down the perfect gift for someone else.
I think of it like trying to make a beautiful window display with a Wizzley page of products and then having a one-way conversation about each item on closer inspection. Some browsers just like the Window dressing and others want more information on what's for sale.

I'd never really done anything with Adsense before Wizzley and it's nice to see the amount building up each day. I make a lot more from sales though. I'm torn between wanting to learn how to earn a decent income from adsense and concentrating on sales which I can already make money from.
It's interesting, I approach informational articles and sales articles in pretty much the same way. I've got some cool stuff to share and lots of details explained simply. And I never think in terms of selling. I think about helping people find the right thing.
If earning money was my overriding concern then I'd do something more lucrative (like the job I'm on a career break from). I do this because I love it and it doesn't feel like work and leaves me lots of time and brain capacity for my kids and the rest of my life.

Congrats Jimmie! :)
When my hubs were doing REALLY good, I hit a high of $800 with adsense. Since Panda, I am earning nowhere near that amount. I do have adsense on my blogs as well, but for some reason adsense clicks convert better on my hubs and affiliate sales convert better on my blogs. Anyway, I am not disclosing my earnings to brag, but rather to share what can be achieved.
Maybe my pages here will help me get back in the game with adsense.

That's wonderful news Jimmie! $4 a day is an adsense payout EVERY month. Nothing wrong with that! Thank you for sharing your success, it really helps me stay motivated.

Thanks, everyone. I knew you all would be happy for me!
Marie/kinworm,Thanks for sharing your approach to sales pages. That is really helpful. TerrI,Agreed. So far for me Amazon sales are higher than Adsense, but I love having multiple streams. The speed at which I'm seeing results is very motivating.
Today I got my hair cut, and for the first time ever I said that I work online! It felt good to say that! I've decided that I'm going to begin saying that when people ask what I do.
Janet,Thank you for the encouragement. Wow. $800 a month from Adsense. That is hard to imagine, but I'm willing to test the feeling. ;-) No, I know you're not bragging. I appreciate your willingness to share. It's so helpful to get realistic ideas of what is possible. And I know you invest tons of work into your articles. It is possible!I do hope that Wizzley will resurrect your Adsense earnings.I'm writing a Hubpages too, trying to diversify more and more.
Digby,True! Thanks for your encouragement. Yes! Stay motivated. Keep writing.

Yes, Adsense can really give you a good income. I wasn't doing as well as Janet, but I was up to $300 a month from Hubpages last year. My Adsense income dived after Panda, and the changes they made over there, but Wizzley is heating it back up again. Yesterday, I earned $7.74 and the bulk of it was from Wizzley.
Anyone can do this.

I'm still not doing all that well with Adsense, but I did get a little for three days in a row this past week, rather than once or twice a month, which was my average. It's good to see from the rest of you that it's possible to get much more.

I'm in the same boat as you, Paula.
I was earning up to $14 on a good day, back when I was almost exclusively publishing on Hubpages. Then with Panda it dived down to 50c on a good day. The ad program has replaced some of that, but I'm still far below where I was!
However my latest achievement is making more per day from Wizzley than Hubpages. (Note that I only have about 60 Wizzes as opposed to over 200 articles on all HP accounts.)
Unfortunately that still isn't a lot - Adsense is my lowest earner, with less than $50 a month on average. =(

Has anyone been hitting these kind of figures on Chitika? I was just wondering, as I don't have the option of Adsense.
(Google kicked me out with no explanation in my first week of having it on my blog. My friends and family swore that none of them had been randomly clicking ads; and I was downright paranoid about meeting every requirement for it. I still have no clue what went wrong.)
