It's clouding up and getting windy. You'd want to wear long pants and a tee shirt today. Basic temp is 70.

Pam, How do you like that weather compared to Florida? It was sunny today with snow flurries here. Thirty-seven degrees which is way too cold for me. Brenda Reeves

Really chilly in the UK (surprise, surprise) This time last year I was getting ready to take my two youngsters to South Wales for a week, and the weather was gorgeous! |

BrendaReeves: 03/21/2013 - 05:49 PM I grew up in New England and I do like the snow. I don't like shoveling and lugging wood, but Florida is HOT pretty much all the time. I like cool, crisp air - you never get that in FL and believe it or not, sunshine every single day gets old. At least it did for me.

I'm a sunshine junky. That's why I've got to get back to CA. I was talking to a woman once whose husband had been transferred to L.A. from Texas. She said she didn't like CA. I asked her why and she said because the sun won't go away. lol Brenda Reeves

At 1 am on the first day of spring, my first grand-daughter was born. Now that's a sunny event. Otherwise, here in Haifa, the sun is shining, the waves are crashing against the breakwater a mere 2 minutes walk from my new apartment, the weeds that have totally overtaken my as yet untended yard are competing to see which of them can lay down the most seeds before I uproot them and I'm waiting patiently for another rainy day that will loosen up the earth enough so that I can have a chance to turn it over and start preparing it for planting new trees and bushes. Happy spring to all you people in colder climes. |

BrendaReeves: 03/21/2013 - 08:42 PM I can relate to that. I love cloudy days in the summer. I know I won't be dripping wet even with the ac on. Lana or LIl aka Ragtimelil RagtimeLil's Store on Weebly

Hey Pam like your cat, here in the Midwest we are enjoying a breezy, 25-degrees F. overcast skies with light snow flurries predicted for Sunday. Its days like these that have me wondering about the whole global warming thing. Be well and enjoy your early spring weather… teddletonmr

Yep, lots of snow here too.
I put a picture of a deer I saw munching in my herb garden in the snow on my blog yesterday if anyone wants to look http://whitemosshouse.blogspot.co.uk/.
I posted it on twitter and one tweeter said "at least it will be ready seasoned" Whitemoss (sue) on Wizzley and whitemoss on Squidoo

whitemoss: 03/23/2013 - 10:45 AM I've had lots of deer also, but there is nothing left in my yard for them to eat (they already ate it all) and the rest is snow covered. The cottage is so cute. At first I couldn't tell where it was - I'm in the U.S. - but I'd love to stay there! |

Sleet here in the frozen Fens. Out later to m-i-l's where we can stay overnight if we want. Settling on the grass, roofs and cars but the paths and roads seem clear enough. Have been sitting in bed all day researching and writing, having decided against venturing out to get my hair cut.
Waves to Skittles in passing. Hello, beautiful! Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.

@ Brenda: I'd swap with that lady any day - forgotten what the sun looks like in this corner of the UK and the last time I wore my sunhat was as part of a fancy dress costume!
