Hello, I'm Back!

Well I haven't really been gone, gone. The roof (over our bedroom) sprung a leak. Animal print duct tape didn't help. So some of my cousins came and helped Matt and me do some quick roofing repairs. That occupied us for quite a few days. Just in time for the snow that arrived yesterday.

So they're off skiing and I'm home Wizzling.

We missed you, Digby!

I'm glad you got that bed fixed. Leaking springs ain't no fun!

Thank you chefkeem and Katie. It's soooo good to be doing what I should be doing. Fixing roofs and gutters is very stressful. Especially when you're foot goes through the roof - and I'm only a size 5-1/2. You'd be surprised at how big a hole I made. After that I was sent to make dinner.

Let me get this straight.

1. You're 5' 6".

2. You're in your bedroom.

3. Your foot goes through the roof and rips a giant hole.

4. Then you make dinner.

Should we know the (w)hole story or should that be considered as "too much information"?

My life is so much more interesting when you tell it! Of course my DIY nickname is Lucy, because of that other redhead who causes so much confusion when she tried to help.

Perhaps you should start video-taping your adventures for a new reality show?

Thank goodness you didn't fall through the hole.... Oh my set yourself down in front of the computer and stay there....

Ha ha on the animal print duct tape! Yes, it's pretty but does have limitations.

Snow? Wow. Down here in the South, it's full Spring! Flowers are blooming, and it's 77 degrees today! Love it!
