Yesterday I was brain dead. I had no creative ideas and no ambition to finish projects I had started.
Today I'm bursting with ideas but can't stick with one thing long enough to finish anything. I keep finding other things I need to do first, and then there's this other idea....
Can't even finish this post....

Oh I hear that! Loud and clear.
Do I edit? (Have two pieces I must finish as soon as possible, an academic one for the end of the weekend of 5,000 words and a long novel I've been busting to read since my client told me it was coming my way.)
Do I write? (Spent some time at the Centre for Computing History today so I have a new article there and another in my Success thread.)
The washing already went by the board, as did the ironing. Supper still has to be cooked at some point. Also trying to download music and play a game as well, so my head is about to splatter horribly all over the screen with my braincell trying to escape.
Ack...It's the John Hurt moment in Alien!

Well, now the dogs are telling me they want their training time, then it'll be their supper time and then my supper time and then walkies. I just played with my new (cheap) ereader and managed to get 2 new books out of the library. And one looks fascinating and only out for 3 days. No pressure there. And I have an Wizz half started. If they sit too long they often get abandoned. I did try to organize my Zazzle store. That's always good to set my brain spinning....

OK then. It's the planets.
Has to be. When three of us in three different places and two different continents are all feeling antsy...

Spring and summer are the seasons this land forgot.

Ragtimelil, when you work out how to become more focused, will you help me to achieve it?

Don't you also think that's the problem when you work for yourself and on the internet? There are so aspects, you end up writing at numerous sites, trying to promote, creating things for Zazzle, wanting to read etc. There aren't enough hours in the day. And which job should be given priority?
For example, I've researched some keywords relating to my Zazzle products, great *I thought* but now I need more products to fill the article. So, instead of writing the article I'm trying to produce more products, which means more designs, which means more time before I can write the article. I'm worn out already.

It's the attempt to prioritize. We are the writers, artists, promoters and people who are also supposed to have the business acumen too. Which are we foremost? That is the question?

RTL, we need to decide our priorities and which comes first. We need clear goals and how we are going to achieve them. We could all help each other out in this respect.

Yep, but I have no idea how we'll achieve this. lol. But I do think that a bit of brainstorming amongst ourselves would help.

Maybe we should set a schedule where we write one day, promote one day and work on Zazzle one day. Maybe we'd be more focused that way. What do you think?
