I never wanted to say this...

I never wanted to say this but I'm getting heartedly sick of Hubpages. I understand that they want to get back into Google's good books, but they're going over the top. The things that they are 'correcting' aren't the real issue. The real issue is allowing anybody to join without vetting them. And if you have good responsible writers, you don't have to worry about stupid stuff like videos not having a bit of print on them - even it it's not advertising anybody. Google isn't worried about that stuff. 

Anyway, I've really tried to be polite about it, and it's ironic that it took me two years to join HP because when I researched content writing sites, I naturally looked at the 'elite' writers. When i saw that most of them were semi-literate etc. I didn't join up. 

As you can see, right now, I'm angry. I'm not in the habit of doing irresponsible things, and I don't cheat and violate policies. 

I think that this is best said at "the other forum."

Many of us write or wrote there, but I don't think it's appropriate for this forum to become a gripe session about somewhere else. Maybe others disagree, but I'm hoping that the more positive forum experience prevails here.

Tess I hear you, that is the reason I am now writing here, mostly new stuff, but also transferring some of my H ... articles to here. Better atmosphere and better support that actually cares about writers. Just vent, get over it and concentrate on writing for Wizzley, that is where the future is and we all are responsible to make that future happen ...

Tess, I guess we all have some harsh words to say about HP. But luckily we have Wizzley to write on. It is way better place to write, if you ask me.

It is not Wizzley writers running to HP, but it is other way round. That tells us something.

And so it is. If you noticed, I haven't said anything further. It is also the very first time I have mentioned it. In addition, I have seen other people mention it and I am seldom on the forums so I just didn't know. I won't respond to this thread anymore.
