Is Ping-o-Matic Down?

I haven't been able to use Ping-o-Matic since Sunday, when I posted that article about the Oskar Schindler Factory.  That went through, but nothing else has since.

It'll let me add in the information. When I press 'send pings', it directs me to a pure white page with the words 'no blog URL?' on it. 

Is everyone else getting this? Or is it an issue my end?

Also, do the rest of you habitually use that service?  I do it after every article, ever since Humagaia bigged it up at the beginning of last year!  I know how fast the internet changes, taking best practice with it, but I haven't thought to check on this one recently.  Or, indeed, ever.

I haven't used this service for more than a year, but if your main goal is indexing, G+ is probably best alternative. While Redgage is not so good/fast, it can serve the purpose too.

I do Google Plus everything too, but surely that - and googleping - are just for their search engine.  Pingomatic was for them all.

Is it good to Google+ every post of yours, i rarely do that- does it play a role in our articles getting indexed or getting traffic?

I must admit I have not used ping-o- matic for a couple of years due to similar problems that is until today. Did not work for me, the same white page, and message Jo mentioned.

I do however, use google + for all the articles I read and comment on here
