I am driving 200 miles in my rv, Jim is driving and if I don't get this out I will lose my mind.
My beautiful mother, only 66, just died. Not expected, no illness...she just left me. I know many of you don't know me but my online family here is a support in so many ways.
Please keep us in your thoughts.
The pain is unbearable and the shock, with no warning, is making me feel like im only dreaming

Oh, Robin. I am so sorry. My mom is around the same age as yours. I can't imagine losing her so soon and so suddenly.
I am praying for peace as you deal with this tragedy.

Oh Robin, I am so sorry to hear this.
the same happened to me with my Dad this last November, so I think I understand the shock as well as the grief. No warning, no goodbyes. Just a phone call to find out where he was and within seconds your world is turned upside down and changed forever.
We are all so different in the way we handle something like this. I know it helps me to talk about how I am feeling, to my husband. I do not try to hide my sadness from my four children, my brother and sister-in-law, who are also devastated by our loss and we all talk about Dad and how much he means to us.
I have had some lovely messages from people in this community and on Squidoo too. I was sent some great tips about how to cope, so I am sure it will be the same for you. But one thing stood out to me and it was to not let anyone else put a timeline on your grief and tell you when it is time to stop grieving. As time goes by only you will be able to know when you start to feel better.
The pain does not go away, even well over two months I still feel myself welling up every day, but I just get on with things because I know that is what my Dad would want. I carried on rehearsing and even did a show a couple of weeks ago.
You will learn to cope with this Robin, although it is so tough, life really does go on. But in the meantime know that my heart goes out to you and your family as you try to come to terms with what has happened.

How awful. I don't think any of us ever believes we'll ever lose our mother, and for it to happen so early is even more devastating. It will seem unreal for quite some time - just be patient with yourself.
