Panicking Again

OK I know things don't move in a straight line. but I had been seeing an increase in visitors (my graph just moved up a level) and an increase in clicks and pennies accumulating. All of a sudden, everything stopped. My visitors dropped to 49 and aren't moving and the pennies are at zero.

Is anyone else seeing a dip? I guess it would make me feel better if I didn't think it was because I can't write anymore....

Hmmm yes I had a dip today myself, eb and flow I suppose. I don't fret or even think about these things much.  

peaks and valleys, yes. but things seem to have come to a screeching halt!

Oh, well, I'm writing another article anyway - just 'cause I want to!

The ubiquitous phrase "calm down and carry on" seems appropriate here.

Do you write on other platforms like Squidoo? It's less frightening that way - your eggs aren't all in one basket.

Yes, I do squidoo, Digby. I don't get much out of it though. I tried to do both but it wore me out. I'm concentrating on Wizzley until I get a few more articles up.

I am feeling a little better. I think the fact that I couldn't sleep the last two nights has an effect on my mood.

Thanks. I guess I just wrote a few articles that don't interest anyone but me. The one I just published went to 100 visits in an hour. Guess people were interested in that....

And my visits overall climbed back up and I made a sale on Amazon. I guess I have to retract what I said earlier. It was just lack of sleep.

On top of all that - Zazzle's quick create is working for me now....

Regarding your question about the dip in visitors, I noticed it too. I guess part of it has to do with the fact that summer is over :-) But pretty soon people will start looking for other things, related to the fall season and Christmas season. Apart from season-related articles, people will also be reading more stuff again once fall gets into full swing and they get back to the computer to search for this and that.

I think it just shocks me when I have a high of visits of almost 300 and the next day it's about 30. It seems to climb up during the day, so I have to learn to relax. It will do what it will do.

I also got only around 30 visits per day on average so far :) but it is increasing and will increase for sure ;)
