Pinterest question

I have been reading contradictory information on whether amazon allows affiliate code on pins.  If we pin an Amazon product from Wizzley, is that allowed?  Does the pin go through the article, or does it have affiliate code embedded in it when pinned?  I would like to use Pinterest to generate traffic.  I am reading Amazon changes rules, so what was might not be what is.

I always use url to page from site then choose one of the images that show.

I don't use product link alone since it is not allowed in emails, etc.  

Try contacting Amazon CS but one says one thing and another one may give a different answer.
