I have been trying to search but havent been able to get an exact answer, hence thought about asking it here- can i promote zazzle products on pinterest with my referral id? I have heard that pinterest strips off the rf. id. Is it true for zazzle too? Can someone please help.

I don't use Zazzle nor Pinterest. But if they do strip out the referral ID you could still promote your own products as you'd still get a commission even though it may be lower (I'm not sure if you get extra commission if you refer your own products). Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

You can add your own referral ID by first pinning and then opening the pin to see it when you get the prompt. Then click the little pencil in the top corner to edit the pin and you will see a window called "source". Add your referral ID at the end of that URL. Then don't forget to save the change. |

I am a little late seeing this conversation as I have been busy shoveling snow, but if you Pin directly from Zazzle your referral ID is added to the end of the link. There is no need to go back and add it, as far as I know. An easy way to see it is to find an item you have pinned, click on it and hover over the image. Look at the very bottom left of your screen and you'll see the link with the ID on the end. |
