Yep, and your blooming rain has now blown in from the Atlantic and is going to spoil the upcoming holiday weekend. My girls arrived home after a 10 minute walk from home from school soaked through yesterday. I hope you guys get some decent weather soon as we usually get whatever you are getting a few days later. |

The gardeners and the farmers are pleased but that's about it.

I think it's going away for a few days, Paula. They're promising temps in the 80s and 90s for Sunday and Monday in our area Step back to the 1970s with the Seventies Music Archives.

I am sick of the rain too...our farmers and gardeners aren't very thrilled...they are flooded. Enough already with the severe storms and tornados too. Spent some serious time in my basement the other night...what got me was when the broadcaster used a term I never want to hear again, although it got my attention...This is a PDS - potentially dangerous situation. About that time the warning sirens went off...picture an old lady running fast down the basement stairs! |

makingamark: 27. May 2011, 17:08 Not all of them. Many farmers have had to delay planting because it has been too wet. I choose this year to make my first vegetable garden (4-H project with the kids) and it has been very interesting trying to get the planting down in between the days of rain. We gave up on doing raised beds because my son didn't have enough clear days to build them so we just stuck the plants in the topsoil bags. lol!!! |
