I looked at my collection of articles after having read Jo's book and I saw that, aside from my professional child abuse articles, I have only 2-3 articles each in a number of different categories. I have begun systematically adding articles until I will reach at least 6 in any niche that I want to focus on. It really does help organize one's writing schedule.
