Chatter away, friends!

What did you get for Christmas?

I got a Sony Digital Recorder and 3 books by Frederick Forsyth and Joseph Wambaugh (two of my favorite authors).

I'm happier than a clam! What would a clam do with a digital recorder and 3 books, anyway?

What did you get? Did you deserve it?  Laughing  (Or, more interestingly, why not?)

Two pairs of slippers, a metal budah ,chocolate, a cardigan, bath sets, socks and a book token! All really exciting stuff! Yes, I think I probably deserved it.

I've got a balloon ride!  It was actually my Mum's present, but my Dad bought an extra ticket for me, so she had company!  *happy dance*

Santa also kindly left me several books, some Ethletic boots (they look exactly like Nike ones, but aren't made in sweat shops), National Trust membership, Michael Moore DVD collection, t-shirt and some smellies.  In short, I've been spoiled rotten. :D

I would kill for National Trust Membership! Might treat myself.

A halogen oven, some Hobbit posters, a jumper, some sweets and shortbread.

Don't know if I deserved them, but I am very glad to have received them, especially the first two.

I got the impenetrable love of a good woman :) best gift I ever got 3 years in a row :)

We usually buy each other things all year (and wrap em) and on Christmas focus on others mainly, but we do stockings where we go to stores and get a bunch of little things that mean something to us specifically... we usually raid a dollar tree for 20-30 little things or things we put together into something synergistic like candy trees or cool clear vases full of this and that)... we also make each other cool things like books with the middle carved out (harder than you think!) as the actual box for something small and so on.

But overall the best thing I got for Christmas was the love of an amazing woman and the expression of that through an amazing stocking (many of our presents wouldn't fit into the stocking so we made a Christmas shrine in our room (small tree lots of small presents under it (post opening of presents):

they used to call be Jerry berry because my cheeks were so fat as a baby, I suspect my smile lines came from people tucking at my chubby cheeks all day haha... ironically I grew up and wouldn't gain weight (till I hit 35) .

Jerrico that is a wonderful little baby smile in that new profile picture looks worth a million dollars.

I received a neat desk but my desk still isn't "neat".  I'm not using it to scan my husbands receipts like he thought I would.  I'm using it for all my old photographs! I also received gift cards and I will probably use them to buy lots of good stuff for my family since I really don't like shopping for myself. And oh, I received new sawhorses for my shop!  I like to think I deserved it all!
