I just entered my setting page and noticed that one of my two pages was flagged. The Wizzography field said my page would not be indexed by search engines. In the settings page I did a standard, who, what, where bio. Can someone bring me up to speed regarding this issue. I was in the process of writing my third page, and I suppose that won't be indexed either. What's up?

The Wizzography page is set to no follow because that's our little corner of Wizzley to spam with all of our external links. Did you put a biography page in there or something else? It's best to use it as a biography for that very reason. All normal Wizzley articles are indexed though, as in the site map. As a newcomer, you won't have yours automatically indexed until you've written five of them. They do go through though, once a moderator has looked at them. After five lovely articles, the Wizzley team can be sure that you're legit, so all will be automatically indexed thereon. Hopefully that answered all of your queries.

Someone who knows the answer to this question will be along shortly I'm sure. But from what I understand, it is profile, and Wizzograpy that is not indexed until you have completed the first five articles and have had them approved, not the articles themselves. I believe they are indexed once they have been approved. But I'm not sure. |

Hi guys, I have questions. Can I use my bio from my own website to justify my journey to Wizzley? Also can I link to other Web 2.0 sites that I'm currently associated with? |

You can use your biography from your own website, but not if it's word for word. That would be duplicate content on the internet. Google tends to get pretty tyrannical about such things, so Wizzley has a built in mechanism to stop us doing it. Yes to the linking up from other 2.0 sites on your Wizzography (or anywhere, if it's relelvant). However, I have heard some SEO advice against it, if you're looking for page ranks. Google knows that you're writing for both, so turns their noses up. Naturally you could just say 'sod Google'. By the way, I'm not on the Wizzley team, so I could be wrong about all of the above. <3 But that's my understanding based on being here for ten months.
