Hey guys and mostly gals :)
I've been out trying to make that big money lately and practically forgot about Wizzley until this afternoon when I got a sale of a 400.00 laser from this wizzle: Real Light Saber, resulting in this first time this affiliate account actually woke up- lots of "tire kickers visited, well some then one bought the dam thing!). (for those that want to immerse into this thrill here's what you see when you get a sale on wicked lasers: http://screencast.com/t/JW2gvDeVsHZ
40.00 isnt something to celebrate on it's own, sure, well sure for some that's a lot of money- it certainly was 80% of my life!, but it's the thrill of the out of the blue 40.00 that is really appealing isn't it? I will likely spend that money in seconds on some tool or something I need for video editing, but overall the money goes the thrill sticks around for WEEKS!
Thought I'd share- you wizzlers have a fantastic Christmas, may all your wishes become profitable :)

WOW! It's exciting when you actually make sales here. So far I've only sold a few dollars. I can't imagine selling something that expensive. Congrats!

I can and have before but it's not as easy as people make it sound, although the experts who've put in the years to master their craft can do it instantly- it DOES exist, but ONLY if you know what your doing and con consistently make course corrections- that takes experience..
The real power here in this realm of article marketing (let's not be coy) is to plant seeds- write lots of articles and spread them out, when you get burned out (you always do), you sit back and try a different thing to maintain excitement but maintain learning- the beauty of articles that generate revenue is that they do so without intervention (unless you want to speed it up), and even when you quit this kind of thing, so long as your work is still plugged into the matrix and potential clicks are possible- you will one day see a surprise- have enough of these potential revenue properties set up and mastered, cultivated, crafted just so, and those surprises increase.
This is a plant game.. You don't just buy a pack of roses and expect the money to keep flowing in, you buy a plant, you nurture it, you let it live it's life in this environment you put it in and make dam sure to do it right the first time if possible (in other words MASTER each thing to the point it disgusts you or bores you, then master sometying else- those skills you've mastered are transferrable! How well built, how well said, your article is the more potential this can happen- if your article is bland, boring, or salesy- it will likely act as a shield AGAINST your potential income.

Nice one, Jerrico! And lovely to see you around again. I hope that life is treating you well. :)
I'm forever passing on a wonderful piece of advice that you once gave to me: 'You're not writing for now. You're writing for this time next year, or the year after that.'
Now a year down the road, I can certainly see first-hand what you meant by that. Thanks. :)

Thanks Jo! Life is treating me very kind, seeds I planted years ago have come to fruition so I'm spending a lot of time "tilling the gardens" cause I want those crops to keep building that money long after all investments have been recouped (including time) :)
Glad my advice helped you! I got more if you need it, I'm a fountain of information, some relayed most internalized (based on experience) but it's all yours at 50% off (because of Christmas) :) just pop into my private mail (checked more than anything and I gave YOU access! :)) and ask I may have a few questions for you about the fascinating Wiccan Rituals :)
I found something I think you might just love more than life itself :) and that's all I can say..... for now.
I've had a longggggg day so I bid you a good night (or morning where you are or afternoon- aw who can keep up with it?) Nice to hear from you again!
Now. Isn't it eating you up inside that I just brushed that last 3 lines over the "I found something I think you might just love" thing? buahahahaha, I'd tell you in here but people have a thing about long posts and informative posting so hit my email up and I'll give you the down-low (my gmail email or wizzley, your choice).

Jerrico, where are you writing nowadays?

Hi ologsinquito,
I don't really write much at all anymore to be honest, I spend more time reviewing work than writing it, more time planting seeds than writing- I don't think I'm a writer at the core, I'm a businessman/entrepreneur more and could never be happy solely as a writer even if it made money- It's not what drives me, but if I write at all it's at Wordgigs or for my boss, my projects/blogs etc...
I never circulated through any of the writing mills (I work for one actually which bars me from using any others (at least they let me write there too and I consider them the best out there for what they do and consistency. (not hiring at the moment). Some of our fellow wizzlers have been writing there for a year now :)
I'm currently breaking the cherry on an idea I think is largely untapped- "Writer Motivation" Software :) like an aol interface but only for writers and with special writer based bells and whistles to maintain motivation (timers, digital coach (to keep you on track) and music I'm working on producing that would create a scaffolding for feeling motivated and creative (like music you hear on the game show minute to win it actually but tailored to the time frame the writer wants to write- I can't say more but this thing is going to be cool and complicated to create, but will be something we all need! Motivation tools! I'm currently feeling out and interviewing "life" to distill all the amazing things that drive a writer, what blocks him/her etc... I'm building this all into an idea/concept that will start out as ways to test ambition but will ultimately become software you can layer over any site to add motivation to the equation- does anyone know of anything like that out there right now?
Other than that I've been building my Mastery skill set, I found the most amazing book about how to master anything, it tells stories of history (that are fascinating so you remember the data!), it's 18 hours of audio book listening which I do everyday, I think this book would explain to everyone who writes here WHY they haven't made money- they simply have yet to "Master" the craft :)
I'm babbling :)
Merry Christmas everyone!

Hi Jerrico - so great to hear of your wonderful sale.
To be a "master" at anything takes a long time to develop the expertise. And selling online requires its own set of skills to be mastered, you are right about that. According to the expertise research literature, becoming an expert takes years of focused application to the underlying skills sets until they become so internalized that unless you also practise the skills of teaching it, you cannot necessarily pass on what you know to others because the mastery reaches a level of intuitiveness that is not as easily broken down as the "rules" you followed when a beginner. "Mastery" involves an intuitive holistic approach to the area mastered.
Your new project seems quite interesting. Good luck with it.

Sheri you frikken nailed it! I have a book called Mastery by Robert Greene (audio book, 24 hours of listening unabridged!), and he distills all of this in amazing detail simply by telling you a history story of historical figures we all know (but until now didn't know this much about them!). He tells fascinating stories of how these figures came to learn to master their own things (some are Mozart, Darwin, Napoleon, Henry Ford, and about 200 more :). In the listening, just passively, you gather immense insights that bug your mind for days even months!
It's the most complete no BS book on the topic I've ever read... Actually here is the trailer I saw on youtube for it (it basically illustrates what you just said). I think it's the USERS MANUAL to being human and reaching any level of success, personal or business.
Here is the man himself in a talk wiht Oxford, this alone should blow your mind!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sYmQFPXmJA
And the cool trailor that's just cool to watch:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQDWpp_1vIc (it also explains the entire mastery path- but that's not enough to "apply" it :) I'm sending my boss this for Christmas :)

If you aren't almost overwhelmingly busy- and you're chasing success or mastery- then you're doing something wrong :)
