I love the photo, but I don't really get the text. Maybe it's just me. It looks to me like the dog is uninterested and thinking, "ya, ya, merry Christmas and whatever". You asked for honest! |

I too like the image. I'm a real prude when it comes to potty topics. BUT this breed is among the smartest is it not? If so I feel the text is bit dumb downed for such pet owners. I would include text like, This picture is photo shopped there is no way I'd be caught out doing my shopping in a hat like that, I prefer ear muffs. BUT again the customer has the option to change it right??? Katie McMurray

Why not add a better background? The picture looks great, imagine it with a sort of Christmas background? You know something in green and red rather than plain black? Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

I, too, love the photo! I would probably purchase a card with an image like that. My sister had a golden retriever that has passed away this year, and I know she'd love the card. But I have to agree with Katie and Dustytoes about the text. I never send cards that have potty humor. I'll bet you could think of some other text to put inside the card or even leave the card blank, as the picture has a story of its own. Read one of my books Sheila's Books

I, too, love the photo! I for one think it's super as it is. No idea what I would put for text, though. |

Photo: great shot, yours? Put the dog more off center and change the background Text: At least give the customer the option to change it. |

Thank you all. My friends on FB thought it was funny, but only three responded. I guess that tells me something. It just goes to show you, always follow your instincts. I questioned it myself, and that's why I asked for everyone's input. Although I do have a golden retriever, that is a photo from Pixabay. Back to the drawing board. Thanks again everyone. Also just as an afterthought Brenda, and you certainly don't have to listen to me, but the text is a bit large for a 5x7 inch card. When I first began making cards at Z, I made my text way too big and I think yours could be quite a bit smaller and still look good. |
