A Profile Question

Oh Pleeezzze don't ask me to dig through all of the "new updates" threads to find this...

I'm sure I'm going to have a "duh" moment answer on this, but I had to ask...didn't our profiles used to reveal a link to our main blog, etc. of our choosing? Obviously, I would love for people to find out all about me through my rving blog.

I did select my Wizzley on "why are we living in an rv..." which shows up when someone checks my profile, but am I crazy thinking my blog link used to appear when people would click on my profile? (only reply to the am I crazy regarding this topic, please...haha).

I know on our settings we can still "set" a url...but how would anyone ever see that?

Robin - we don't have those links anymore, because too many spammers abused this feature. However, there is a link with avatar to your "Wizzography" page, which you can write like a profile of your personal blog, if you wish to promote it on your profile.

they hid the link and widdled it to only one, the start at the top of your screen is said link- there is no longer a text link but the link is still there (however useless it is in a star icon nobody attaches to a site address/link though)...

Thanks for the explanation...I totally understand, I just thought I was missing it / lost it somewhere.

My Wizzley on why we rv will be just fine - but didn't want to miss the opportunity, if it was out there somewhere.

I miss this feature too. Maybe one option would be to provide this to authors with certain amount of published content and / or time passed from opening account? Spammers are not patient and they do not provide quality content.

After all link to our favorite site or our home site provides useful info to the visitors too, right? I know my two most powerful links to my landing sites come from my profile on other platform. This is big motivation to keep me active and make new content:)

Just an idea for one of future updates...
