Admin i need your help regarding adding text links in my wizzles. Everytime i am adding any of the viglink site links in my wizzles, and try to save the capsule, the page says 'the url is not valid'. This is happening with all the viglink sites including zazzle. What should i do.

This may be caused by the old bug in the editor, which is a third-party program over which we have no control.
I would empty the browser cache, restart the browser, and try again, perhaps tomorrow.

Thanks Chefkeem, does it mean the issue can be resolved by tomorrow? I hope so. I am finding this issue with almost all of the viglink sites except Amazon.
I am using Chrome for writing, is it creating some kind of a problem?

Hi Younghopes,
I just tried a test which you might find helpful to compare your situation. I picked a merchant at random - Aeropostale and linked to this page http://www.aeropostale.com/product/index.jsp?productId=64573476&cp=3534618.3534619.3534623.3541050.3536167
I put the link on this Wizzle, https://wizzley.com/stay-warm-in-a-discount-nili-lotan-sweater/ and it worked just fine. You can see it at the bottom of the Wizzle in the "Text" link.
Can you do this? There is sometimes a problem, but most of the time I can do it. I am also using Chrome.
Did clearing your cache help?
I'll delete the Test link after you try it. Let me know how it goes.

We've tried to resolve this issue for about 2 years now. But as I said, it's a third-party program over which we don't have control.
Sometimes, if you try again the next day, the problem has disappeared.
In any case, there's nothing we can do about it.

Thanks Digby so much for this, yes it is perfect on the wizzley i saw. But i am unable to add it. Whenever i add a viglink merchant link in my text, and try to save it shows 'invalid url'.

I cleared all the cache in Chrome and was able to put text links from one of the site like: beau-coup.com but not from others like zazzle or personalcreations.com. So, i added one image from personalcreations.com and then linked it, that went well.
Seems text links are a problem and not the image, but i have always added text links in my older posts without any issue. Now its a problem

I just tried to link to personal creations and I can't. So it's not just you. It is very frustrating. Zazzle is a problem now for me, because I can't use product numbers, because it defaults to the German site.

That's strange really since i have always added from this site in my past articles. And yes Zazzle shows German site now when i add the product. Does it mean the customer will be taken to the german site then? Is it just a bug?

Yes, the customer will go to the German site. If you use keyword search, it goes to the American site. So I fiddle with the keywords and limit it to the seller. Most of the time I can manage to get it to bring up the right product. It's because the Wizzley servers are now in Germany and Zazzle has changed the way they serve products to different locations. They think we are all Germans.
