Hi,

I've just published 2 new post and one of them is showing google ads at the top of the article which I don't want to appear. I don't know why they are there as they don't appear on any of my other pages.

Any clues?

thanks in advance,

Tommy

Hi, first of all, the ads you see might not be the ads somebody else sees as Google 'personalizes' them based on location etc. Second, we can't filter ads on our pages here, so unless the WIzzley team decides to filter certain advertisers site wide, which wouldn't be a great idea, there is nothing you can do about.

Hope that helps and welcome to Wizzley btw ;-)

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the welcome. My confusion arises because none of my other (currently 4) pages have any adsense on them within the article. Also I have not filled in my adsense info into settings because I'm currently focused on using Amazon.

Of course I'm happy to roll with however Wizzley wants to do things but I'm confused as to why the ad format isn't consistent accross all pages.

Adsense doesn't always show up immediately, but you will have ads on all your pages at least on Wizzley's impressions.

It is, but several things can cause this.

A) You have Adsense disabled on a page by page base (there is a menu for this in the sidebar of your edit view) then no ads at all will appear.

B) You have forgotten to do so on some articles and so sometimes Wizzley's share of Adsense ads will appear and sometimes just a white field as you haven't filled out your Adsense info yet.

C) If neither A nor B are true, there is a bug and you should contact support directly, see footer of each page here.

Hope that helps, and sorry for misunderstanding your problem first time round ;-)

That's what I was after, thank you Sam.
