Hey There - did I miss a memo?
The Amazon MP3 option is gone? I know the Wizzley team doesn't do anything they don't have to, but usually I know it is coming?
If it had to be taken down, this is REALLY gonna hurt. We have so many music Wizzleys where that option totally enhances our article. I think of our new article on Phil Spector that featured Phil in the Teddy Bears. Let's see...Blind Melon's "No Rain" reference, Mitch Heberg's comedy sample...
Oh I hope it's a glitch...or it is going to hurt our music Wizzleys given we would use a song or sample as a topic/reference.

Well it was there yesterday, which is why I'm perplexed. My Phil Spector article used it when I published yesterday, but this morning the module was gone.
If it had to go, it had to...but I was just surprised. And Wizzley Admin has a great track record of heads up notice, even feedback when it is an optional change, so was caught a bit off guard. Will find out soon enough, I'm sure!

I couldn't reach Simon, yet, so I'm not quite sure what's going on. Will send him a message and ask for clarification.

Yes, it's gone. The mp3 widget was hardly used, caused technical trouble on Amazon's end, and - since AdBlockers are quite common today - most users wouldn't even see it.

Then let me add the following to my Ode To Wizzley...
Ahem,
Making pages is easy, fun and a breeze
All that is missing are cool MP3s
Guess I've got a bit of editing to do when I get back to Montana...oh well.....

No editing necessary, Robin. Simon fixed it manually on all articles with the MP3 module.

Hey Chef!
What I meant is that I need to check my music articles because I believe in text modules I may have referred to "remember the song ______? Be sure to listen to it in the MP3 below" and things like that. So I need to go thru and check music articles so readers aren't confused...plus look on youtube to see if there are any legal/acceptable replacements

Thank you Simon! My Silicon Dreams articles need it (another one going up tonight, in a few minutes in fact...)
Do I have to check that before I upload? Guess a youtube video is a better option if I can find one... (personally would rather the MP3 but my audience seem to like their vids).
Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.
