With Helium ceasing to take new work (and due to be deleted completely in December), I've removed all of the articles I had there and would like to start putting some here. I wonder, though, if I need to do something fancy - deleting from Google index (techie stuff I don't understand), before they can be published elsewhere? Alternatively, should I wait until December when Helium will cease to exist altogether?
Thanks for any help!

If your articles can't be found on Helium anymore you may publish them here. It may take a few weeks until your Helium links disappear from the Google index, but that does not matter.
We sure love your stuff! Thanks.

Wow. Helium finally bit the dust? I have been out of the loop!
Looking forward to reading more from you on here, WiseFool.

It's only recent, Paula. I got the email last month about it happening. Articles were available to remove from the site from May 21, but people can keep them up until December 15. I've taken mine down. The eight I had made me a whole 10c in the three years that they were up there...

I've been out of the loop since February when I took up my new day job, Alexandria. I don't have work on Helium, but I know of many who will be affected by this.
Audit submission is this month, then I am told that sanity will return and I can go back to 30-37.5 hour weeks, a work/life balance and my freelancing.
The end is in sight!!

I wasn't able to remove my articles. (Only 3 or 4). I am looking forward to December when they will be no more. It was a tough lesson to learn, but the lesson is "Read the entire agreement before you post your work on line." They absolutely owned the works and freely edited them until the articles were mere shells (shills?) for advertising, with no other value.
Good Riddance to Helium.

I didn't write for helium for some time and my account only showed one article, which was false. I still removed it.
