Hi,
I've just tried to publish a page which I have moved from HP and have also received confirmation from Google that it has been de-indexed from their search results. Yet, when I tried to publish I was warned that it was duplicate content from Holliethomas.Hubpages.com. What should I do now?
Also, I've noticed that two pages which I have published some days (perhaps even a week or so ago) have still not been indexed by Google. I'm wondering where I've gone wrong. All help gratefully received!

Go ahead and publish your article anyway, Hollie. Our internal dupe checker may be mistaken.
To check on your other articles re: indexing, we need to know which pages you're talking about.

Hi Chef,
I've published the page after double checking that it's no longer on HP and Goggle's confirmation that it's been de-indexed. The pages which appear not to be in Google's index are: Where to buy a tagine pot online~ what is a tagine pot? And, The best Christmas sweaters for men; buy ugly, cheesy, tacky Christmas jumpers this holiday. Thanks-:)

Have you bookmarked your articles on facebook, twitter, etc? It helps with getting indexed faster.

I'd tweeted them and pinned them. I'll FB them, too.

Chef,
Does your duplicate content checker use the Yahoo BOSS V.2 API?
Most similar tools do, if so..... technically the tool will flag duplicate content from Yahoo results rather than Google results.
Just a thought!
That's a question for Simon, if you mean our internal dupe checker.

In a way, yes: we use the Bing API, which is closely related to Yahoo.
