Chitika help needed

Before I finally get given time off after my audit next month I need to have the settings here sorted out, because decompression will involve a ton of writing at great speed whilst drinking gallons of tea. (Not that different from work, tbh).

Can someone tell me why, although I'm getting hits from Chitika, I haven't earned a red cent from anything? My referral report in Chitika says 'no data' and I have impressions but nothing else. No clicks, no CTR, no CPM.

What am I not doing? What do I need to do/change/remember in future? Do I have strange settings or is it just that no one's reading or clicking?

I'm hopeless with setting up for ppc and such like adverts - my blog earned me the grand total of £6 in several years before it was DMCAd last month. (A merciful release, if you ask me.) Can someone who understands this dark art please walk me, slowly and carefully, through this? Using words of one syllable (two at the most) and plain English without bully bingo SEO-ese if possible?

I'll try not to bite, although tears are a possibility and curses a given.

I make at most a few cents a month. It's very disappointingI get clicks occasionally, but it's few and far between. A few weeks ago I happened to be looking around on Chitika and wizzley wasn't claimed. Somehow they had moved the site to unclaimed. I claimed it again and things got better. Well, I think I got two clicks LOL

I reclaimed Wizzley recently (last month some time) Abby. I know that's not my problem now. It must be something else :-(

Oh dear.  {{{{hugs}}}}  Let us sort this out.

Step by step checklist then:

* You registered with Chitika from Wizzley.

* You have nothing in the Wizzley Google Adsense settings.

*  Under your Wizzley Settings > Affiliate IDS, you have your Chitika username and Channel?  Like this.  Both match those in Chitika > Account Settings.

*  In Chitika, you have submitted your Tax Form.

*  In Chitika > Ads > Settings, under the 'My Domains' tab, you have claimed your Wizzley property and pressed save.

*  Under Chitika > Ads > Settings > Ad Settings, you have Mobile Ads switched on, and Rich Media set to Mixed.

If all of the above are true stories, then your settings mirror mine.  I'm getting the clicks, CTR and CPM, plus payments, therefore it's all working as it should.  Once we've eliminated that part, we can move on to stage two.

I was tempted to bother you in August at Revival about it, but then I figured we'll be too busy running round being geeks to be writers as well...*grins madly and stashes a box of wine away for us both to demolish*. The food service was slow last year - we had a refund on one of our meals because it took so long. This year the venue has promised to listen to us when we tell them how many people we are expecting so the food service should be faster. They won't be selling cut price alcohol though - one plastic cup of wine was £3. So I'm smuggling some into the hotel room! Nuts to them...not giving the venue a penny more of my money than I need to; I'd rather spend it at the event.

Obviously done something idiotic, Jo. Still no data showing up everywhere I look. Can't even seem to find the settings to check whether what I put in on Wizzley matches Chitika...

My Wizzley settings mirror yours, at least. I'm getting impressions (had a few last week) but reports still state 'no valid clicks', I have no moolah and these irritating 'no data :(' error messages are still appearing.

Told you I was pants at this, didn't I?

Back to the audit. Last week now, it's all over on Friday.
