I wrote a page on Personalized Baby Stickers.
When I published, it kept giving a notice of copied content, from
http://www.zibbet.com/blog/2009.06.19/how-to-make-a-zibbet-banner-for-your-shop
I never heard of the above place and copied nothing. I reviewed it and did not find anything that was relevant to what I had written, other than we used some similar terminology.
I think this may have been a bit on overkill. I write my own content.

Hi Cheryl,
I just approved your article. Sorry about the scare...it's a wild and crazy duplicate content checker on steroids.
Thing is, we hand-check every single article anyway. You're fine.

Thanks Chefkeem.
I updated the image in my intro. Will it show up now when people click on my pages, like the index of pages under my id.

We really should change this scary message to something more friendly :) Yeah, it is a content checker on steroids - does what it wants sometimes :-P

Cheryl - for the preview pic you must upload an image in the right side bar, when you are in edit mode on your page.

Thank you chefkeem, I've done that before. This time it will sink in better.

I like the idea of hand-checking. Will you let me know of any typos too? Pretty please

Awww...WebWriter...can't do that. Time-wise. Yes, if I see a whole bunch of typos as a pattern of overall sloppiness, then I will mark the page for corrections. I suggest using a spell checker.

You have a bit of duplicate content in your notes about "Pirates of the Caribbean", but it's insignificant. Don't worry about it.

A good rule of thumb is to write 400 words of truly valuable and unique content.
Then feature your ads (up to 8) and write unique descriptions or matching info.
Then add a video, or a picture gallery, or a link list, or all the above.
If you want to feature 20 ads, you need to have 1,000 words of unique text. Not just any filler text. Tips, insights, personal experiences and recommendations...you know, good stuff for the reader.

To be clear:
Whenever you feature a product (picture or link) for sale, whether it is through your own Shareasale (or CJ, etc.) creatives or through one of our Amazon/Zazzle/AllPosters modules, it counts as one ad.
If you feature 3 Zazzle products in a Zazzle module, it counts as 3 ads.
In accordance with Google's quality standards, we require 50 words of unique text per ad.
Our minimum text requirements are 400 words. That's 8 ads. (8x50=400)
For each additional ad you must then write 50 more words of original content.
However, you can not just simply place a bunch of ads in your article, and then write 50 words of text along with them.
Our Wizzley quality requirements state clearly:
An article must provide value to the reader, even if there were no ads at all on the page.

One way to see if you are offering your visitors value, is to imagine your page without any links and any products. Is anything left that the reader can take away with them, that does not depend on clicking links?
If you can answer "yes" - then you really do have a quality page.
OK, some people may disagree but it is the way I try to write.

AJ that's a great tip. It's simple and does the job. I had never thought of it that way before.
