Do Edits Go Live on "save" or When We Return to Page View

When I edit an already published page and change a module, does that change go live as soon as I save the module?  Or does it wait until I return to page view? 

Sorry, need to reply as I forgot to tick email notification.  Is there another way to do this.  Sorry about two questions, one post. 

I see 3 questions, Rhonda. Although, #3 doesn't show a question mark.

1. Yes (change goes live upon module save)

2. No (no need to return to pageview, only if you want to see what it looks like)

3. No (once you've missed ticking the email notification, you just have to come back later and check for answers; or do it like you did.)

Yes, there were three. I was counting one and two as the first and the un-questionmarked one as #2.
