I notice that Wizzley doesn't have a sitewide EU cookie declaration as yet. Given that Google AdSense (not the EU) requires this to be done, by the end of the month at latest, is this in progress?

I'd like to know if this is in progress as well thanks as it could potentially affect Wizzley adsense income if the site is not in compliance. |

Personally, I really hate these popups we're getting to confirm on each and every website now. Today, virtually all websites are working with cookies. A completely nonsensical and unworldly law was passed and we don't intend to bow to such idiocy, unless we're facing dramatic consequences. Actually, I would recommend doing the same to all web developers around the globe. Simon |

OK well I do agree it is a nonsense policy that's for sure and I loathe pop-ups as well Hopefully it will be something they decide to do away with - especially if lots of sites are not complying. |

The problem with this one is that it's related to Google bowing down to the law and protecting themselves. I think anyone who refuses to bow to Google's dictates will quickly lose their AdSense account. I'm certainly making sure that my AdSense pub-code is only active on websites I authorise, which are those complying with AdSense cookie policy. |

Google sends a warning message in such cases. If they do, we'll comply right away. Google itself has to comply, because it's such a huge company and they wouldn't afford this kind of protest behavior. They have enough trouble at hand concerning privacy issues all the time. |
