Brenda, Page rank is really not important and is not an indicator of how your site/page is doing. Also, you may be still showing a zero because Google has not updated it's toolbar. The last pagerank update was on Feb 2, 2012. And honestly Brenda, you are not doing anything wrong. |

Another thing to know is that Google has been downgrading the importance of pagerank for some time. Paula Atwell (aka lakeerieartists) is the owner of an online art gallery, Lake Erie Artists Gallery and a freelance writer

Brenda - My three articles on a similar topic and similar keywords are ranked 1, 2 and 3. The one ranked 1 is number 8 on the first page and the other two are on the second page (#'s 11 and 15). While page-rank does matter, it's not all there is. Going with Natasha's point, it takes a few months for the dust to settle. I am learning to give articles six months before I take the rankings seriously. What that means in my case, with my hyper-impatience, is that I just do the best I can to optimize and then forget about it (i.e. don't check PR and such metrics.) |

Oh, I was wondering about the same thing when I started writing my blog. but then I realized there was constant increase of the traffic to my blog, but still the page rank wouldn't go higher. I guess, the most important thing is visitors flow and sales, and not the rank. I stopped even cheking it. And we all love your pages, Brenda. ;) See more of my work: Rabies: the Oldest Disease

Brenda, there is one thing that you should check with pagerank and that is whether it is '-' or not. As yours are all 0 this means that Google has actually found them. If they are '-', there is a chance that they have not been found or indexed at all. That is the only thing that pagerank is useful for IMHO. Https://chazfox.com/
