I wanted to know if there is an easy way to build a referral link on another site. I tried copying and pasting the html code, but it didn't work. Thanks for your help.

Did you use html editor? Or did you try in text editor? Here, on this forum, for instance, you have both and you can switch from one to other... Code should work in html editor only. I suppose you want a clickable link. |

Hi Tolovaj, Yes, I want a clickable link. This was for another writing platform that we don't use html code on. |

Well, I don't use ref links and my knowledge of html is very limited, so maybe I am not the best person to answer, but at the platform you are talking about probably is a way to insert a link. Maybe you did some kind of mistake in syntax - using brackets or something? I checked your profile and it seems you write for Squidoo and Zujava. They both have html editors. Don't know about HubPages. Can you be more specific? |

Hi Tolovaj, Yes, this was for Hub Pages. I've done html links on Squidoo, but not on Hub Pages. All I see is the little link symbol for the link, but nothing for html. |

Mhm, hubpages are on my to-do list for this year, but at the moment I am sure humagaia or lobobrandon are certainly the users on this site who can shoot the answer to your question from the tops of their heads. Cheers! |
