I eventually get any traffic from search engines (Google etc.)?
Would that show on the analytics tab? Would I see the search terms?
What's the best way to know?
I know this is a silly question but I'm just not sure.

There is a statistics tab at the top for your entire account and one for each article next to the article title (Action), or you can follow your account on Google Analytics. http://wizzley.com/google-analytics Paula Atwell (aka lakeerieartists) is the owner of an online art gallery, Lake Erie Artists Gallery and a freelance writer

Nice to see you here Paige. I also go directly to google analytics. I just checked mine and I have had 14 google hits already. Not much, but it's a start. ~ Pukeko

Thanks lakeerieartists. I saw that stats tab, but so far it only has a graph sort of thing. So eventually I'd see search engine (Google) stats there? With quantity of visitors per search engine or something? I'm going to read the analytics article and try to learn from it. I always get confused when I go to Google analytics. Hey Pukeko! I am soooo glad to be here! I'm a little giddy in fact. Can't wait to build more articles and see traffic from outside. We've been out of town on a short vacation (sort of) and now I'm home and can dive in. I'd be overjoyed at 14 visits these days!!! |

First you will have a lot of visitors from wizzley. But wait a few days then the pie shows the visitors from different search engines... For more detailed information analytics is your tool :-) My Tip: Public domain images on Pixabay.com :-)

Yes, Paige, most analytics charts are about 24 hours behind. That includes Google Analytics. The pie chart on Wizzley will show you percentages, but it is a little confusing. I am showing that I am getting about 12% traffic from google search which is great for just the short time the site has been live. I've installed Google Analysics on Wizzley (just copied the code under the 'Revenue' section), but when I went to check on stats, I am not seeing anything. I installed the numbers last week. Any thoughts why I am not seeing any numbers?

I've deleted the first account - since there was no traffic - and started a new one. Perhaps that will help so I can see results. The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.

Kristi, if you install the number correctly, you should see stats within about 24 hours. You need to set up Wizzley as a website profile on Analytics, then use the UA- number for that profile to enter into the Wizzley space for it. Did you do that? Did all that. I decided to scrap the first one and start all over again. Keep fingers crossed that I'll see something tomorrow (or at least by Tuesday). You should see your stats by the next day. If you don't then something is not set up right. Google stats always run on California time. So for me the day ends at 3 am my time. Paula Atwell (aka lakeerieartists) is the owner of an online art gallery, Lake Erie Artists Gallery and a freelance writer

Did you put the website as just the main one? (wizzley.com) If you put an article or your profile then it won't work correctly. |

I put in the wizzley site. The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease.
