Map Capsule Labels

Perhaps I'm being dense, but when I use the Map Capsule I can't see any way to label the markers A, B or C. So I can refer to them in my text. So the readers have to mouse over each one to see the location of different monuments. Am I missing something?

Type your name or description into the field next to "Add Marker". Then click on "Add Marker". Then, with your mouse, move the marker into the right position on the map.

But you still have to mouse over the marker to see the marker name right? It doesn't change it to A, B,C or anything else. So that you can see it without mousing over, right?

I think Simon will soon build a new map module, anyway. If I remember right, Google has changed something, and their map thing is not really feasible anymore. I'm sure it's on the to-do list, but we had so many other important things to take care of first. I'll ask him.

That's no problem. I was just wondering if I was being dense. I've eaten an entire package of Oreos today. March madness has gotten to me. Ashville was robbed today. Just robbed. One shouldn't mix Sam Adams Light and Oreos. I'm not feeling so well now.

I used to cure it with Lager. No wait....vodka! (Or both.)

Hi Digby,

we had this option in our first Google Maps module, but due to an update on Google's backend, we had to re-code the module. Right now, there is no option to label the markers. But I put it on our todo list and hope we'll have that option back by tomorrow.

Best,

Simon

Hi Digby, the markers are labeled now with numbers. Is this ok?

Thanks Hans. Yep. That way I can just say look at marker #1. Thank you.

The markers are just labeled in the order of their creation date/time. So, modifying them *could* be a bit uncomfortable in some cases. Just let us know if this is the case. We'll think of something new then ...

Yes and sorry for that... Most of my time I look after the server and the database Smile So it is more the "basic" work what I'm doing :)
