I'm finding Vigllinks reporting less than useful - so far I'm still on zero clicks - but I'm suspicious that the pages I've used eBay on - has a bit of traffic - so I would have thought I'd have had one click by now! Also I have deliberately clicked my own Amazon in text links - and these haven't shown up either.
If I ever get a sale - does viglink actually tell you where the sale came from - page/ vendor?

Lis - Viglink has actually a great tracking system in place. Once you've had your first clicks, select "Primary" from the source pull-down menu, and then click on any day that shows clicks. You'll see exactly how many clicks and from which merchants.

I just got my first VigLink sale today and yes it shows you the merchant and Wizzley page as well as the link that was clicked.

Well I'm confused by the reporting.
The Wizzley eBay module seems to come up as rover.ebay.com in the click reporting, but these are not reported as revenue generating clicks and I don't see any revenue associated with them.
My ebay.com text links show up fine and have revenue. Number of 'actions' are reported, but no further detail.
Do others see the same?

@Terri:
Is it due to this:
"Authors wishing to promote products on eBay can utilize our module again, and get credit for sales generated during their impression share."
Quoted from http://wizzley.com/viglink
I haven't got my head around the Viglink reporting yet and I doubt if I have much data to be of any real use.
I'm seeing some rover.ebay links under Best Links for Total Revenue but does that mean those ones are affiliated to me or not?

@Kinworm - Oh that's interesting. So the ebay module is based on sales rather than value of clicks?
That doesn't explain why they don't show as revenue generating clicks though.
The text links seem to be based on eBay's measure of the value of clicks (though 'actions' get recorded.)
I have lots more clicks to rover.ebay.com but no revenue showing. Whereas ebay.com has fewer clicks, but (a little) revenue showing for most days.

I'm sure Anne will answer later today. We're also working on a Viglink webinar specifically for Wizzley authors. Their schedule is pretty full but we hope to have it set up before the end of this month.

I'm also confused about this. #1 It says on my account that I need to send tax info before they pay me. Do I need to do that, or does payment siphon through Wizzley first. #2 Also, it says "Amazon revenue report processing is delayed" at the top of the page. What does Amazon have to do with VigLink? #3 I do know that someone made a purchase through my article on a VigLink merchant about a week ago, but nothing is showing up.

Brenda, payments are not through Wizzley, so any company that you start with will need tax info. Remember that this is shared revenue with Wizzley, so they might have bought on Wizzley's impression.

I am still not showing any revenue for my ebay modules. Is anyone showing Viglink revenue for the Ebay module? I am wondering if I should replace the ebay modules with ebay text links...

Matter of fact, Anne is on the phone with Viglink as I'm writing this. We hope to have answers (and possibly a special Wizzley/Viglink webinar) soon.

Oh, I think I asked a similar question in the Viglink thread above. My biggest question is the Ebay modules, which I would prefer not to replace.

I only have a few pages right now with ebay modules, so I don't expect a landslide of clicks/earnings. However, my report is only showing a total of 2 or 3 ebay clicks and zero earnings since I started with the program. That seems very low to me.

We're setting up a webinar within the next 2 weeks. Working on it.

Janet, I've asked about this too. I am seeing revenue from the text links but still nothing from rover.ebay.com - although I get a lot more clicks.

That's good. I would just like to be sure it is being tracked, etc. The clickouts show on my list of clickouts but not in my list of clicks for revenue.

Paula,
I posted more detail on the other thread but to make sure you see it. Current situation:
ebay.com text links are generating revenue and show in the list of revenue generating clicks
rover.ebay.com (Wizzley eBay modules) are not generating revenue, or at least it's not being recorded.

We're staying on it, friends. We should be able to clear up these issues, even before our webinar in 2 weeks.
