Module Question

Are there a minimum number of modules we must have, or can we put the body of our article in one module. I find that it's better to match the Amazon ads with.

There is no hard rule, Brenda. In general, it's better to break up long blocks of text because of better readability. Also, the module title fields are optimized for search engines, which gives your article a more SEO-friendly structure.

Nobody likes to read looong text passages. Several shorter text modules make everything more digestible and more attractive, especially if you add images, too.

Thanks Chef, I've broken the text up within the article. By writing the passage in a new module, cutting and pasting it in the single module, it looks like I have several modules. The titles are even orange. Hope that makes sense.

and the text module does have a word limit- my general practice when moving content over is to populate one module then break it down (always do that, SEO from h3 tags is essential!) but I can't do that because I keep breaking the word barriers (first the text capsule, then the comments, then the email lol... just finding my boundaries (but not on purpose lol).

20k characters is the limit in a single text capsule I believe. You know what would be cool (but likely not practical) if someone put say 20k characters in any given text capsule if it automatically instead of that red line stating you broke the word count barrier, if it would auto create new text capsules and populated them with the max, then the next and the next- :) (hey I can dream can't I?)

Any chance we could extend the comments box on our pages limit to 3k or so? One thing that brings in great content for the page and SEO value in conversational (social SEO) back and forth is stimulating conversations- it's also like free content for the writer so why the limits? If it's spam your worried about the writers can moderate them...
