Hi Simon (or Hans!),
I don't know how often this would be useful, hence me only just discovering that we can't do it. I wanted to create something which would lift the most popular items from a Zazzle store. It can be done with search terms for categories of products, but not by popularity.
Let me illustrate. I've edited my Wizzography to mention my Zazzle store here. I tried adding a Zazzle module, which would just pull from Beautiful Britain in general. It wouldn't allow me to do that without a search term. That only looks at the titles of products on Zazzle, which, to be fair, is usually what we need for a Wizzley article! But what I wanted for this one is the contents of this feed (RSS).
If I look at that in a feed-reader, it shows the pictures beside the products. But when I add it to the Wizzley feed module, it only lists the products without a picture.
Any ideas?
yours
Jo

Jo,
I will admit I don't have ideas (not my expertise) but have GOT to share something with you.
Your link to your zazzle store, which I clicked on because ever impressed with any work you do, led me to a text module that is titled "that was the river, this is the sea."
This happened this morning.
Now it is evening.
Being a HUGE Waterboys fan, with their album and single track titled "This Is The Sea" - where they sing in their beautiful voices "that was the river, this is the sea" over and over and over....well, Jo, I have been singing it in my head since this morning. Jim and I just had dinner, with typical music playing, and I put the song on to MAYBE get it out of my system? Though if it hangs on, that's ok...it's a gorgeous song.
Just had to share....hope you don't mind.
It's playing while I type...think I'll put it on once more!

LOL! I've had it in my head all day too, because of that heading. We've been dueting across the ocean without knowing it.
Let's put it into the heads of the rest of Wizzley now. *evil grin* CLICK ME! Great tune.
And thanks for clicking on my stuff. Ego boosts always gratefully received. <3

Jo,
What an awesome visual, us dueting across the ocean. Only wish the rv could float so we could sit at your table and sing Waterboys hits in unison!
More info than you want to know, but the story grows...Jim and I turned it into a "dance in the rv" night...we do this once in awhile. Waterboys and Mike Scott the theme tonight..."When Ye Go Away" one of my favorites. Also "Sweet Thing" - both versions...Van Morrison and Waterboys (we play this when we perform gigs, too...love it).
We have so many records on board (Bring Em All In, Fishermans Blues, This Is The Sea, Room To Roam) think my feet will be sore in the morning...
Fortunately mellow...no stage diving off the rv roof or anything. :)

When I was at Uni, there were so many people called Jo that we'd run out of easy ways to tell us apart (Jo from such and such etc). I ended up being called Johnny, after 'A Girl Called Johnny'. Jo(anne) being the female form of John and all. That's what named my half-aborted blog, which began this whole on-line writing malarkey.
I've had many journeys blasting The Waterboys out. I wish that I was with you and Jim having an RV Waterboys dancing night!

We wish you were here, too.
Jim and I smiled a big smile when you referenced yourself and "A Girl Called Johnny." The three of us are certainly in sync with the universe tonight, aren't we?
Off to tie some floating devices to the rv...leave a light on, will ya?

This is so great!
Wizzley is vibrating on a universal frequency tonight.
Who needs LSD when you have JOs and RVing R&Js.
Hugs, y'all.

The noise goes on, and the jazz.
Have fun and I'll catch you tomorrow. Abed myself here now, but going with a huge smile on my face too. And a final wave over the ocean to you both.

Hi Angel,

I've got 'The Live Adventures of the Waterboys' playing, as I work today. As for the party, the more the merrier!
I'd like to personally extend the invitation to Simon. If only so I can trap him in a corner between jigs, and ask about my Zazzle feed issue. :p Then back to the dancing, obviously.

Oh boy, what have I missed?!?!
LSD? What's that Chef? Doesn't matter: jut send some over and I'll give it a try. It might boost our creativity, I assume ...
Hmm, the feed problem isn't quite trivial. There are lots of different feed formats and we only deal with the most popular and accurate ones. I've already put it on my todo list to improve this a bit - I have an idea and maybe it works out. Maybe some of this ... LSD ... could help?!?
Have a great party!!

Nice one and no rush. I can't see it coming up that often. :)
And as the resident Syd Barrett fan, maybe I should look after that blotting paper with the pretty pictures for you....

Okay, the Zazzle feed appears to be working with images now. Just let us know if you notice any bugs. As far as I could see, it does the job :-)
Cheers
