I was wondering how this would affect us. I know that links to our Wizzles don't contain affiliate links. But there certainly are affiliate links on the Wizzles themselves. I don't know how deep they are going. Just another thing to ponder.

Posts: 123 Message | on 02/14/2015 From my understanding, people are simply posting a product image with Amazon affiliate link to it, as one example. It could be a Zazzle product with the affiliate link to that product. This is what they seem to be going after. Linda Smith |

Here is one from Wall Street Journal about Pinterest removing affiliate links. It looks like they are going to hit all of us. There is also some news about PInterest doing something with a Buy Now button which sounds like they are going to do affiliate marketing themselves using this buy button. Linda Smith |

I'm not even sure that it buys us much in the eyes of he search interest, since it's become such a place for promoters. However, it is frustrating to see channel closing little by little. |

She's also an expert on Amazon sales. At least sign up for her very informative email newsletter. Today she discussed those Pinterest changes. Once you've signed up you can go back in her email archive and read everything. (No, I won't get any commission if you sign up. I bought her Pinterest program last year, and I think she's a very generous and knowledgeable teacher.) Here's the link to her Pinterest ebook ($13): Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com. |

I'm just starting to get more serious about using Pinterest to promote my pages. It'll be interesting to see how their new policies will affect us. Karen |
